Pilgrimage

Pilgrimage is a transformative journey that has been part of many religions and cultures for centuries. For those seeking spiritual growth and deepening their connection with their faith, Four Noble Truths USA (501.c.3) in collaboration with the Buddhist and Pāli University (BPU) of Sri Lanka offers a unique opportunity to participate in a Meditation Retreat Pilgrimage in Myanmar, tentatively scheduled for the spring of 2024. 

The retreat will provide an opportunity to engage in meditation practice under the guidance of experienced teachers, learn about Buddhist culture and teachings, and experience the beauty of Myanmar’s sacred sites.

In addition to the pilgrimage, Four Noble Truths USA offers various events and programs throughout the year. These include speaker series with YouTube links, mindfulness programs, and retreats that are held in many countries. 

The organization also supports cultural events like 2023 Vesak, Vassa, and Kathina held at various locations.

For those interested in pursuing academics, the BPU and Four Noble Truths USA offer diploma courses in early Buddhism, Pāli language, and Buddhist social dimensions. 

The courses aim to provide an in-depth understanding of Buddhist teachings and how they can be applied to daily life. The organization offers resources such as libraries, publications, and free books, and has an accomplished team of lecturers, advisors, and spiritual teachers.
